They manage the balancing act between down-to-earth roots blues and elegance with an absolutely sovereign manner. These two factors are usually difficult to combine, but here they do. The album takes the listener into a smoky delta bar, on stage the musicians constantly replacing the rustic southern outfit with tuxedo and bow tie. An incredibly fun album from the first to the last minute. (For the jury: Karl Leitner)
